DoorWorks Hinged Door Golf Cart Enclosures

The DoorWorks Hinged Door Enclosure is made to fit carts with Golf Bag set up, Rear Facing Seat or a Utility Box with no customization. It is a versatile out of the box solution!

The enclosure is made with high quality powder-coated aluminum with your choice of Marine Grade Vinyl or Sunbrella no-rip awning grade canvas. Both fabrics are designed to stand up to the elements by resisting stains, mildew and is easy to clean. Feel confident when you go out that you and your cart will be protected.

It is time to open the door to a better golf cart cover. DoorWorks hinged doors now also come standard with Zippers in door windows and rear window!

Common Hinged Door Enclosure Questions 

  • What's the differnce between Sunbella and Vinyl?
    • We use a high grade marine Vinyl that is mold/mildew resistant and UV treated. The vinyl will have a light sheen in the sunlight.  

      The Sunbrella has more of a canvas texture than the Vinyl and is dyed with an non-fade acrylic solution. Great for years in the sun and other harsh elements.
    • What are the suggested Accessories?
  • What colors are available?

    • DoorWorks Hinged Enclosures come in several stylish colors.

  • I have upgraded wider seats, will that matter?

    • The enclosure is designed to fit standard and wider seats like Suite Seats.

  • Does this work with side mirrors?
    • Yes it works great. Start by removing the mirrors, install the enclosure and then reattaching the mirrors by putting the bolts back through the fabric. We use no rip no rear fabric for this reason.
  • What is the total weight?
    • Around 35-40lbs.
  • Can I install at home? Do I need to drill into the golf cart?
    • Yes! Everything is included to easily install a DoorWorks Hinged Door Enclosure at home. Some versions will require a small drill hole through the rocker panel to secure the lower front and rear post.
  • Can the enclosure be removed for summer?
    • Yes, we suggest removing the Door Frames, Door Posts and Fabric during warmer months, and leaving the header bar on year round.
  • Are the doors removable? Can they be locked in the open position?
    • Yes, the door frames can be removed. They will never fall off on their own, but with pressure from the bottom of the frame (slight tap with foot) they come off for storage. 

      If the weather warms up during the day and you want to keep the doors on simply put them in the open position and lock open with the "Over-the-Top" Standout Latch
  • Does the clear vinyl in the window roll down?
    • Yes, the doors have dual zippered windows and they zip down nicely.
  • Does it cover the windshield?
    • No, it does not. It will attach to the front roof supports and seal around the sides of the windshield. 
  • Will my front windshield need to be removed?
    • Yes, your front windshield will need to be removed for installation.
