How does tire size relate to my lift?+

The taller the tire, the more lift you need for it to clear the fender and body at full steering lock. As a rule of thumb, 20–22-inch tires suit a mild lift while 23–25-inch tires generally need a 6-inch-plus lift. Always check the tire's overall diameter against your lift height.

Are golf cart tires street or DOT legal?+

Some are — DOT-approved tires exist for street-legal/LSV builds, but many golf-cart tires are not DOT-rated. If you're driving on public roads, look specifically for a DOT-marked tire and check your local rules.

What load rating do I need?+

Stock-class tires are usually 4-ply, which is fine for a standard cart. Heavier or lifted carts — especially 6-passenger or lithium-equipped builds — should step up to 6-ply or higher to avoid sidewall punctures and blowouts.

How do I match a tire to my wheel size?+
