Pre-Installation Requirements
- Vehicle must be a Series Club Car DS (Non-ITS)
- Heavy-duty solenoid required for 600a; but just recommended for 440a
- Battery requirements:
- Lithium:
- 440AMP controller requires 400AMP discharge capability
- 600AMP controller requires 500–600AMP discharge capability
- Lead-acid: 4-gauge or thicker battery cables required
- Lithium:
- If you have a DS Series, a 3-Amp diode is strongly recommended to protect the controller during installation
