This fully customizable kit features a 600A AC controller paired with a 4KW Navitas AC motor and is compatible with the Curtis 1510-1515 controller, providing a comprehensive solution for elevating your cart's game.

Fits:

  • Fits Club Car DS (IQ), Precedent, Tempo, Onward, Excel 48-Volt with Curtis 1510/1515 Controllers
    • Club Car DS must be a REGEN 48v Model (Regen Models will have a run/tow switch under the front seat and your Fwd/Rev switch will be a toggle switch, not a handle)
  • Does NOT Fit: Models built Dec 2021 and newer
  • Does NOT Fit: "Series" breaking Club Cars.
    • How to tell if you have a "Series" model? If your Club Car does NOT have a run/tow switch under the seat or your Fwd/Rev switch is a handle (not a switch), it is likely a 'Series' cart and therefore, will not work.

Pre Purchase Checklist:

  • Cart must have a Curtis 1510/1515 Controller. 
  • Heavy duty solenoid (required for controllers 440 amps or higher)
  • Right Batteries:
    • Excludes Factory Lithium Models / Will work with aftermarket drop in lithium packs, such as Roypow and Relion, or Allied/Epoch if you have 3 x 30ah 
      (If you're unsure, check your battery discharge specification to ensure the battery can handle the amperage Navitas controllers call for. Insufficient amperage ratings will call for the controller amperage to be turned down. 440 amp controller should have a 400 amp output battery. 600 amp controllers should have a 600 amp output battery)
    • Carts with lead acid batteries should have heavy duty batty cables. 4 gauge or bigger cables.

Install Tips From a Pro:

  • Take pictures of current wire locations and positioning before starting install. (This will help if you forget where a wire or connection goes)
  • Taking rear passanger tire off can help with installing the motor. (This will give you more space and maneuverability to get the motor on the splined shaft.)
  • Download Navitas App and configure your controller to your cart. (This will make your motor and controller run as efficenetly as possible.)

We recommend adding 4G cabling throughout as well as a Heavy Duty Solenoid

    Club car ds change over to ac motor

    The change over was easier then i thought and only took a few hours. I would recommend lifting the ds model when adding this. The added security of being able to lock down the device when you park it is one of the best ideas I’ve seen on a cart. All I can say now is zoom zoom.
