Club Car Series Motors are built for 1990 and Up Club Car DS Models that are based on a Series Wiring Architecture.

Simply Stating, You have a Series Motor if you DO NOT HAVE the following

  • RUN/TOW Switch (located under Front Seat)
  • Forward/Reverse Switch is a Toggle Type Switch
  • Speed Sensor Cable (Comes off of the End of the Motor)

You HAVE a Series Architecture if you HAVE the following

  • NO RUN/TOW Switch
  • Your Forward/Reverse Switch is a Handle that moves Left or Right for Direction
  • The end of your Motor does NOT have wires coming off of it
